My name is Bruce McWatters. I am an elder at this church. I am a remarried widower. I have two adult young men from my previous marriage. God did a great work in my life and introduced me to my wife at a church down the road. We grew up about 25 miles apart in Oklahoma and met at a small church in the east mountains of New Mexico. How incredible is that? Between the two of us we have four children and a grandchild. I currently work in a high tech industry.

I was raised in a church in Oklahoma and accepted Christ at the age of 13. It changed me tremendously but I stayed a “casual christian” for many years. It wasn’t until a study in Galatians lit a fire in me to dive deeper into God’s word.

We’ve been attending this church since about two weeks after it’s inception in Grant’s living room. I began as a lay leader and am delving deeper into teaching. I am excited about God’s word and am grateful God is leading my wife and me on this trek to know God more personally. Come and join us as we delve into God’s word.
